Hello and welcome to my website! I am delighted to show you everything that I have been working on in the last few months.
As you may or may not know, I started selling my paintings on Etsy in 2018 as a side hobby. While working a full-time job, I often livestreamed my painting process on Twitch every couple of weeks. Eventually, I expanded my crafting knowledge to candlemaking and soapmaking. I started putting more and more products on Etsy, eventually deciding to quit my full-time job to pursue my passions and my dreams.
Etsy is an amazing place to start, as it gives you access to a handmade marketplace. Without having to spend money on ads, using proper tags and titles would give you pretty high searchability. It helps a lot, but the fees do add up eventually. As I drive traffic from my own social media, it made sense to move away from Etsy by setting up my own website. However, it doesn't hurt to have both! I am planning to do new product launches exclusively on saruna.ca and listing them on Etsy after a couple of weeks.
As the holidays are coming up, I am looking to do a drop of new candles and wax melts. I've stocked up on some wintery scents and I think you'll really like them! I have also settled on a new brand of candle jars that matches the aesthetics I like, so you'll see them in the new drop. Thank you for your unending support. Starting a business in 2020 hasn't been easy with the pandemic, but it's been incredibly rewarding and humbling. I'm learning a ton and I'm excited to continue this journey with you all.
